Community Service

The Omicron Chapter of Texas state strongly believes in giving back to the community. We strive to demonstrate how we can all unite as one to improve our society. As a chapter, we attain most of our service hours at our local philanthropy, but we also branch out when we see that our help is needed elsewhere. The Omicron Chapter aims to enable our sisters to develop qualities such as confidence, compassion and self-reliance.

The Omicron Chapter received the 2016-2017 Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award! This past year we worked extremely hard to exemplify what it truly means to be apart of Kappa Delta Chi. We are so proud of all our outstanding sisters! This award is given to the chapter that represents the values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership. Our sisters excel in academics and community service by keeping our values close to our hearts and expressing them every single day. We are so proud to be awarded the chapter of the year!! 🐧💞📚
We are also recognized for completing the most community service hours within the Central Texas region!! Through dedication, passion and hard work, every sister works to exemplify our motto: "Leading with Integrity, United through Service". 👏🏼

Huge S/O to our sister Erika Hernandez for being recognized for having more than 100 service hours as well! 🎊
We would also like to congratulate our sister Ashley De Santiago for being awarded the Marissa Merino Scholarship! Thank you for your outstanding dedication to our sisterhood!
